CALL FOR PROPOSALS BY CULTURAL AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES’ ACTORS
The EU COSME Project SDITOROMAN is offering a new opportunity for creative actors to align their products and services with the Council of Europe certified Cultural Route – the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route www.romanemperorsroute.org, by inviting CCI actors from the territory of Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Romania to join the Route’s professional network gathered along the common idea of providing innovative tourism experiences and perspectives on the Roman cultural heritage.
This Project is welcoming ideas/projects/services/products, already established or in development phase, aiming at providing innovative tourism experiences and perspectives on the Roman cultural heritage for a 21st century audience using new artistic and/or technological means.
Please propose your idea/project/service/product via the Application Form by Friday, 13 September 2019. Successful applicants will be notified about status of their application on Monday, 16 September 2019.
Successful applicants will be invited to participate at the Capacity Building and Networking Programme at the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter of Pécs, Hungary on Saturday, 28 September 2019, and present their ideas/projects/services/products to a wider audience composed of professionals working in the field of archaeology and cultural tourism along the Roman Emperors and Danube wine Route.
The presentation of each successful application during the Capacity Building and Networking Programme should last 15-20 minutes and can be implemented using standard presentation tools (power point presentation, videos and/or photo slides) or applicants can choose to present their ideas/projects/services/products using creative/unconventional tools and approaches.
Following the Programme in Pécs, applicants will be given the opportunity to present their idea/project/service/product to a larger national and international audience, enter new markets and ensure further sustainability and visibility of their ideas/projects/services/products.
Successful applicants can expect that their travel (actual costs, to be pre-financed by the applicant) and full board accommodation (two nights in double bedrooms) expenses, related to participation at the Capacity Building and Networking Programme, will be covered by the Project.
